Heat to Hydrogen - WP6
To reduce industrial carbon emissions it is possible to better utilise renewable energy. One form of increasingly important renewable energy is the waste heat from industrial processes.
Coupled with WP4, this work package is looking at the conversion of waste heat, both high and low grade heat, into hydrogen which is then a storable and transportable commodity. This work package looks at both the formation of devices and thermoelectric materials for coupling with electrolysis units and the deployment of GRANEX Power 35 KW unit into an industrial setting.
Work package 6 is led by Dr Charlie Dunnill
